My processes are a general guide and they are constantly evolving. The finer details are defined by the type of project and how the client/stakeholder wishes to work.
STEP 1:UNDERSTAND
- Define the project/product
- Consult with product owners/stakeholders
- Review the key objectives/business requirements
- Define who the users are, and who they are not
- Conduct market analysis
- Consult available analytics
- Identify primary pain points
STEP 2:VISUALISE
- Map out desired user journeys
- Define information architecture
- Wireframe complete solution
- Build core design patterns
- Design UI prototype
- Validate concepts with testing
STEP 3:RELEASE
- Build working beta version
- Release beta for testing/feedback
- Continue refinements based on feedback
- Release alpha version of product
- Repeat 1 & 2 as required
